Ray-Ban at Ardor Eyewear

Ray-Ban at Ardor Eyewear

Ray-Ban is the most recognised eyewear brand in the world. Founded in 1937 to protect US Air Force pilots from sun glare at altitude, the brand has spent nearly a century turning functional eyewear into icons — the Aviator, the Wayfarer, the Clubmaster, the Round.

At Ardor Eyewear we stock the full current Ray-Ban range, including new collections, classic icons, and prescription-ready frames.

The icons

Aviator

Designed in 1937 for US pilots, the Aviator’s teardrop lens covers the eye socket from glare in any direction. Today it’s the brand’s best-selling style and a staple of countless film characters.

Wayfarer

Released in 1952, the Wayfarer’s thick acetate frame and trapezoid lens broke from the metal-frame norm of its time. Worn by everyone from Audrey Hepburn to Bob Dylan to the Blues Brothers, it’s the most recognisable plastic frame ever made.

Clubmaster

Launched in 1986, the Clubmaster blends a metal lower rim with a thick acetate brow line. Originally inspired by the browline frames of the 1950s and 1960s, it’s a classic cross-decade silhouette.

Round

The circular wire frame popularised by John Lennon. Available in original-size and oversized variants.

Prescription Ray-Ban frames

Most Ray-Ban styles can be made up with prescription lenses, including Aviator and Wayfarer. We fit your prescription into genuine Ray-Ban frames using our own premium lens range — standard or high-index, with optional photochromic, polarised, or blue-light filtering.

If you want prescription lenses with the iconic Ray-Ban G-15 green tint or B-15 brown tint, those are available too — just ask at checkout.
