Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Draft notice: this is a generic UK e-commerce Terms of Service template. Before publishing, have a UK lawyer or legal service review for your specific business needs. Shopify also auto-generates a customised Terms of Service via Settings → Policies — use that if you’d prefer.

Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE]

These Terms of Service govern your use of ardoreyewear.co.uk (the “Site”), operated by Ardor Eyewear (“we”, “us”). By placing an order or browsing this Site you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order with us. By placing an order you confirm you are 18 or over and able to enter into a binding contract.

Products

All product descriptions, images, and prices on the Site are for general information. We make every effort to ensure accuracy but reserve the right to correct errors and update product details without notice. Colours displayed may vary slightly from the actual product due to monitor differences.

Prescription products

Prescription glasses are made to order based on the prescription and pupillary distance you provide. We rely on the accuracy of the information you submit. If your prescription is incorrect, we cannot accept liability for the resulting lenses.

Orders and payment

Once you place an order, we’ll send a confirmation email. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order. Payment is taken at the time of order. UK prices include 20% VAT.

Pricing

All prices are in GBP and include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the one shown at the time of checkout.

Delivery

See our Shipping Policy for details. Delivery times are estimates only.

Returns and refunds

See our Refund Policy for full details. Made-to-order prescription products are not generally returnable unless faulty, in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Intellectual property

All content on this Site — text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Ardor Eyewear or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use any content commercially without written permission. Brand names and logos used on this Site are the property of their respective owners.

Liability

Our liability for any single claim is limited to the value of the order to which the claim relates. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
