The Saint Laurent SL 871 SUE takes its cue from the narrow silhouettes of the 1990s, reworked as a women's sunglass with a slim almond-shaped eye. Made in Italy, it is offered here in a single 51 mm size with a choice of four colourways.
Frame design and materials
The frame front and temples are made in recycled acetate, and the lenses are bio nylon throughout the range. Saint Laurent describes the design as a trendsetting narrow almond shape, a feminine concept suited to both men and women, with the SL lettering logo engraved along the temples.
Size and fit
This model comes in one size, with a listed 51 mm lens width, and carries an International fitting designation. Each lens measures 29.00 mm from top to bottom and 52.20 mm across the diagonal, so the simplest way to judge the fit is to measure those same two dimensions, plus the bridge and temple length, on a pair you already wear comfortably. Remember that bridge width, temple length and lens dimensions are separate measurements, and a comfortable frame balances all three rather than any single number.
Colours and lenses
Choose from the options shown: Black 777 fitted with black lenses, Black 784 with green lenses, and Havana 791 or Havana 807, both paired with grey lenses. The two black versions share the same black frame and differ in their lens tint. If a particular tint matters to you, check the colour and lens pairing for the exact option before ordering.
Prescription lenses and delivery
The frame is supplied as standard with its original sunglass lenses. Eligible prescription sun lenses are available as an optional add-on at extra cost, made to your prescription; allow a few additional business days on top of the usual 5-8 business day delivery while they are produced and fitted.
